The year of our Lord 2001 September Eleven
by terrorist acts many souls entered Heaven.
It really seems life is so easily broken today
When these misguided people have their way
Satan too may have gained souls on September Eleven
We are told that without Jesus you don't enter Heaven.
Thousands of souls evaporated in a sudden flash,
with such heat it would cause the building to crash.
Lets pray that they did not suffer long
And be assured that killing is very wrong.
Remember the families and what they lost,
for it cannot be replaced at a terrific cost.
Children growing up with a parent they miss,
the gentle hug and that wonderful goodnight kiss.
Such courage was shown by those over Pa.'s girth,
to bring that plane down and bury it deep in the earth.
Their quick and honorable actions saved many lives,
they repeated the Lords Prayer and talked to their wives.
Then a silent moment and it was heard a loud Let's Roll,
I wonder if each of us have the nerve to pay such a toll.
Terrorist acts may become part of living on planet earth,
and we may be required to dig inside and prove our worth.
The only thing these souls carried with them on this journey,
was their convictions, how they treated others and not money.
Where were you when the planes hit and could you believe,
it happened right here in the USA and we all will grieve.
